What sports/events do you see an athlete cheer on his/her competition driving them to do better? Sounds crazy, doesn’t it! This is just the first example that came to our minds when thinking about defining CrossFit community. Whether you’re competing at your local box, Regionals or at Nationals you will see this when performing/watching any WOD (Workout of the Day) Why? Within CrossFit you have your own community aka “family” at the box you train at. Then you have your extended community/family outside your box. This is also referred to as the “CrossFit Cult”.
When a new athlete/member approaches us and asks us about (CrossFit FCH) versus other local boxes, we challenge them to visit different boxes before they commit to one and choose the box that they feel most comfortable with. We’re not steering you away from us, we just want you to experience the total CrossFit experience and join where you feel the most comfortable to ensure your success. That’s one big difference about us!
We are also very active in our local community. We have sponsored a Dallas Little league team in 2010, 2011 and we have also sponsored Martha Turner Reilly Elementary School’s Family Fun & Fitness Fair in 2011, 2012. We do other activities at and outside the box, have an idea? Share it with one of the coaches! Some examples of the activates we do outside the box are: the Warrior Dash, the Jail Break, the Tough Mudder, just to name a few.
To get a better understanding of us read our reviews online, our success stories ,member reviews and most importantly, just come see us!
